Artemis Shoulder Bag tester photos

I have a lot of great tester photos for you in this post for my newest pattern, the Artemis Shoulder Bag pattern. Many testers also tested the Artemis Clutch pattern, and their photos can be seen in my other blog post. Both patterns are on sale through Monday, March 8th, and can be purchased in a bundle for a higher discount as well.

Testimonials

Here are some comments from my testers about the pattern:

  • The Artemis Shoulder Bag is a flexible pattern for any level creator. It has several customizable options for the outside with slip pockets, snaps, zippered closure or none at all. The front and back panels are so versatile! The easily sewn side pockets add a trendy, unique touch. In addition, the flexibility of the Artemis continues on the inside with even more customizable options.

  • Overall, the Artemis carries everything you need and can easily be your go-to daily handbag.

  • This bag is so roomy with many storage options. I like the versatility of the pattern as you can add or omit whatever combination of pockets you want. The large exterior panel is perfect to showcase an interesting print, textured fabric, or a pieced panel.

  • I chose to sew the large size with gusset pockets. I consider myself a confident beginner and was able to complete it with no problems on my basic domestic machine. There were many details I had never done on a bag, including a gusset or pleats. However, the written instructions, included diagrams, and videos were all so clear and easy to understand I was able to complete it with no problems!

  • This pattern was fun to sew, I love it!

  • I was particularly thrilled that even the smaller size Artemis Handbag allows you to use those hard to fit, oversized prints -looking at you Alexander Henry. I was able to showcase my treasured Alexander Henry Ghantis Ghastlies fabric is a unique way. The front and back panels are so versatile!

Small

The small size is a great everyday bag. Make sure to click on the testers’ names in the caption to see their personal sites/social media, if applicable, and you can see more of their talent! Also, I like when my testers go even beyond the pattern and make it their own, so I made notes of those pattern hacks or personalized additions to make it clear what is in the pattern and what was a tester addition.

Large

The Large size has a bit more room for the person who needs more space. It would even make a great diaper bag. The side is great for showcasing larger scale designs.
