Edward Tulane tutorial
Edward Tulane tutorial
This is not a very detailed pattern. It is more of a list of instructions combined with a pattern. There are no pictures or diagrams. This is for the doll only, though I do provide links to patterns I used for the clothing and modifications if I remembered them. Edward requires about a yard of fabric.
I don’t recommend this for a beginner sewer. Someday I would like to add diagrams and flesh out the instructions like my other sewing patterns and free tutorials have, but for now, this is what I have. To those who found me from my blog and are interested in sewing their own Edward Tulane, you can download it here. To “buy” the free pattern, you still need to check out, but you don’t need to put in any payment information.
The final picture shows a thinner version I made by using a fabric with no stretch and sewing the limbs directly into the torso instead of using joints (I also lengthened the legs as it was a ballerina bunny). I have no instructions for that, but the picture is there for inspiration.
