The Yuletide Stocking is a simple and festive stocking design with several cuff and toe shapes. This stocking is beautiful in any fabric, including velvet, brocade, home decor cotton, or quilting cotton. Use piping, embroidery, or other embellishments to create custom, beautiful stockings for your whole family. This sewing pattern is suitable for a confident beginner. There are instructions for making the stocking with or without the cuff.

**This pattern was updated January 2024 to combine the original and add-on patterns into one, nest the pattern pieces, tweak the instructions and illustrations, add a video tutorial, and alter the width and cuff lengths of the X-Small and Small pieces. All other pattern pieces remain the same.

You will receive a zipped file with three files:

1. The first is the pattern instructions and stocking pieces for home printing. This pattern includes 14 pages of instructions, with detailed illustrations and video links, and 26 pages of pattern pieces. You do not need to print out all pages, just those for the size and style you pick. Pattern instructions are given in both inches and centimeters and can be printed on letter or A4 paper.

3. The second file is an A0/copyshop file meant to be printed at a copy shop or on a large format printer. This is one page. There is a print release on that page.

4. The fourth file is a Projector file. An increasing number of people are utilizing projectors for sewing. This file includes several layers with a 1” and 4 cm grid each on their own layer and each size on a layer. There are also inverted layers, which have a black background and white lines and work better on certain fabrics. There is one page with the pieces laid out individually and one page with the pieces arranged to more easily cut multiple stockings.
