New Pattern: Slimline Sling
I’m happy to announce my newest pattern, the Slimline Sling! This fun asymmetrical sling comes in three sizes. It’s perfect for carrying just the essentials close to your body. Commuting to work? Traveling on vacation? Going on a hike? You can keep your items close to your body and secure. The Slimline Sling works just as well worn on the front or back. There’s a handy spot for your phone or sunglasses, plus two other zippered outer pockets and the large flat interior.
This is an intermediate pattern. There are two finishing options, birthing or binding. I shot videos of all the steps to help you along the way. Also, I’m dipping my toes into new file formats. When you purchase, you will receive a zipped file that has three files inside. The standard file has letter/A4 (for printing from your home computer) as well as the instructions. You can also download the A0 copyshop file as well as a projector file for those sewists who like to sew using a projector. Hopefully these new file formats will make sewing even easier for those who choose to use them. I fully plan on going back and adding these formats to previous patterns over the next few months.
I’ll proceed with photos from my testers. They are divided into Kids, Small, and Large sizes. Make sure to check out the testers’ social media linked in the captions. You’ll notice some of the slings are reversed from the ones I made. That’s because this pattern includes instructions on how to mirror the pieces and make a left-handed version! I’ll point out those ones.
