The Round the World Purse, an original Toriska pattern, is fun novelty bag perfect for storing toys or other small objects. Use fancy fabric and add a wrist strap for a unique special occasion bag. Your imagination is your only limit in customizing this little sphere-shaped purse. It comes in four sizes and includes instructions on adding a wrist strap or shoulder strap. Recommended for intermediate sewers who are comfortable with sewing zippers, curves, and small pieces with precise seam allowances. Illustrations and photos are included in this tutorial.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

- Exterior fabric, interior fabric

- Woven fusible interfacing

- Foam or stiff Peltex interfacing

- (1) zipper

- (optional) 1-2 D-rings and 1-2 swivel hooks for a wrist/purse strap

You will receive a zipped file with three files:

1. The first is the A4/letter file with pattern instructions. This pattern includes 15 pages of instructions, with detailed illustrations and photos. There are 5 pages of the printable pattern, but you only need to print your size. Pattern instructions are given in both inches and centimeters. This can be printed on Letter or A4 paper.

2. The second file is an A0/copyshop file meant to be printed at a copy shop or on a large format printer. This is one page. There is a print release on that file in the bottom left corner.

3. The third file is a Projector file. An increasing number of people are utilizing projectors for sewing. This file includes several layers with a 1” and 4 cm grid each on their own layer and each size on a layer. There are also inverted layers, which have a black background and white lines and work better on certain fabrics. The exterior, lining and interfacing pieces are each on their own page. The pieces are repeated in the correct amount and laid out for you in the correct orientation.
