Suburbanite Handbag PDF Sewing Pattern
Suburbanite Handbag PDF Sewing Pattern
Sew your own tote bag with this digital download, a PDF sewing pattern that you can download and print from your home computer.
The Suburbanite Handbag, an original Toriska pattern, has a traditional tote shape and simple lines, but the corded handles and single adjustable shoulder strap provide a classy twist. There are several exterior and interior pockets to keep you organized. The purse can be closed with either two magnetic snaps or a zipper. The finishing method is unique and simple to execute. The Suburbanite can be made in three sizes: the small is perfect for carrying the basics, the medium is a great everyday bag, and the large is roomy enough for a small laptop. This pattern is suitable for confident beginners or intermediate bag sewers.

You will receive a zipped file with three files:
1. The first is the A4/letter file with pattern instructions. This pattern includes 27 pages of instructions, with detailed illustrations. There are 16 pages of the Small printable pattern, 22 for the Medium, and 27 for the Large, but the piece dimensions are also included in a cut chart if you don’t want to print the whole pattern. Pattern instructions are given in both inches and centimeters. This can be printed on Letter or A4 paper.
2. The second file is an A0/copyshop file meant to be printed at a copy shop or on a large format printer. This is three pages. There is a print release on that file in the bottom left corner.
3. The third file is a Projector file. An increasing number of people are utilizing projectors for sewing. This file includes several layers with a 1” and 4 cm grid each on their own layer and each size on a layer. There are also inverted layers, which have a black background and white lines and work better on certain fabrics. The exterior, lining and interfacing pieces are each on their own page.
The A0 and Projector files were included April 2023. If you purchased the pattern before this, contact me through the Contact link to receive the new files.
